Single dose intramammary infusion
Composition
Each 10 gram syringe contains:
Lincomycin (Hydrocloride) 350 mg
Neomycin Sulfate 150 mg
Prednisolone 5 mg
Oil base up to 10 gr

Product Information
Lincomycin is a macrolide antibiotic that effect on Gram-positive bacteria. Lincomycin distributes in the breast and binds to the 50S ribosomal subunit and inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. Lincomycin is partially metabolized in the liver and excreted by via urine and bile.
Neomycin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that binds at 30s ribosomal subunit and inhibits bacterial protein synthesis also it is bactericidal by inhibiting formation of the bacterial cell wall.
Prednisolone as NSAID in combination with antibiotic is effective treatment for mastitis.
Indications
Treatment of chronic and acute mastitis specially on penicillin -resistant cases.
Dosage and Administration
For intramammary administration only
The contents of one syringe should be infused into each quarter via the teat canal immediately after milking at 12 hour intervals for four consecutive milking. Before infusion, the teat should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected and care should be taken to avoid contamination of the injector nozzle.
After infusion, massage the contents up into the udder.
Precautions
- Should beused with cautionduringpregnancy.
- Do not use in drying cows.
Withdrawal time:
Milk 3 days and meat 7 days
Storage:
Store below 25°C and protect from light & freezing.
